Safariland grades duty holsters by the number of independent locking mechanisms between the pistol and anyone who isn’t the officer wearing it. This model is Level I — one independent retention mechanism, each one released naturally during a trained draw.
Will it fit my weapon light?
This is a light-bearing model, molded for the Glock 17 with its weapon light in place. Run the exact pistol/light pairing before ordering — a bare pistol in a light-bearing shell will sit loose.
Is it available left-handed?
